Appear for FP Before Marriage?

I applied for 485 in Oct 2000. Now I got FP notice, which says last day for appear is May 09 2001.

I am planning to get marry in May 27, and bring my wife in first week of June, in H4 status. And planning to include her in my 485.

My questioin is , Can I appear for finger print in May 12 and include my wife in my 485 in June? Or should I not appear for FP? Can anyone suggest?

I cannot prepond my marriage for various reasons.

Yes you can. I did the same thing. I did my FP in Apr 2000. Got
married in May 2000. Applied for my wifes 485 just now in Feb 2001.
Make sure that you do the FP in May 2001 though. Do not do it
now itself. If your 485 gets approved there will be difficulty in
bringing your wife and applying her 485.
