My H1 approval was denied last week. I had filed it in premium processing.
I previously had my 1st H1 which expired on Jan 15th. I spoke to a few lawyers and some of them said I should definitely appeal even if means the appeal being denied since the appeal will be on record.
The denial reason given was that the projects my company said I'll be working on does not guarantee that I can be employed by this company for 3 yrs which is the duration of H1. I think the bigger reason was that I primarily have a financial background with some computer programming experience but the h1 was applied by a computer co so they thought that the field of work does not match.
Should I appeal and what are the chances of appeal being upheld and hwo long does it take when the H1 was filed in premium processing?
