Recently when I filed for the renewal of AP. I didnot get a notice of action but got only a Tracking number. Now my mother is ill and I need to travel abroad. I do not have a notice of action. How can I request the local BCIS center for interim AP?
I am very much worried . Please advise.

----- do you mean you did not get AP filing reciept? talk to NCSC on 1-800.IF your Check for USCIS fees is cashed ask the copy of cashed check from Bank and back side it has your reciept#

------- if you have valid H1 in your passport you can use H1 Visa stamp to reenter, if mother is sick get fax from hospital or doctor and go to local USCIS office for emergency AP( they will need AP filing reciept)

Alternately, there are certain USCIS centers that give out emergency paroles. you can go and stand in line and say that you want to apply fot t. they immediately call a meeting with their superiors and discuss the merits of your case and grant you or rejet the request immediately within a few hours.

the USCIS centers description of what service is available will help you in decided whether the USCIS center nearest you does this service. once you locate a center then you can go there and put your request to them.

i believe taking some proof of the illness will help towards getting it.

I have the receipt number because it was Email to us by the attorney. I didnot get a notice of action as during the I application. I have only spoken to my mother's doctor over the phone and I have E-mailedto him. I he replies can I just take the E-mail letter as proof.
