Hello,
I have applied for EAD and AP( I765,I131) at the same time and got the receipt nos in 2 weeks for both of them. When I checked the status online the I131(AP) application was showing as an EAD too and to my surprise it got approved ....I got so confused with this status of one EAD getting Approved( wrong one) and the other real EAD is pending...Then I called USCIS as there is something wrong with my reciept no..
Then there came another surprise ...The receipt no that they assigned to my I131 was someone elses EAD(Officer found it by name & address on the file)..
He said some one did a mistake in assigning the receipt no and told me to write a letter to USCIS about this mistake with a copy of I131 Receipt notice.
Is there anything that i need to do apart from sending these 2 papers??
I hope someone will have an answer for this .
