AP Vs H1B

Hello All

I am flying to India tomorrow. I have my AP as well as H1b valid till jan 2003. Which one should I use at the port of Entry to USA while returning back. H1b Or advance parole. Please reply asap as it will help me a lot.

Do You have EAD Also...??!

I am not sure if you can use your AP without the EAD. If you have your H1B valid until 2003 it is the best option to go with your H1-B.

You may use AP as a second option .. in case there are lots of quesitons at port of entry..

If it\'s an H1B visa(stamped in your passport), use it instead of AP if you don\'t have EAD

You need to have EAD to use AP

H1b seems more safe - Morpheous

Using EAD ties you down to GC process. However in case you use H1b you always have an option to use EAD later (just in case ). Using EAD at port of entry invalidates H1, taking out an option to use it later.
