Ap Urgency

Hi all,

Actually my husband filed AP in Aug, 2003 and his RD is WAC03200.

Till now his AP is not approved and when we check the status online, it says that these days INS is taking 150-180 days in approving. So we have no hopes that INS will approve till DEC, 2003.

Our problem is that my husband has to visit Europe in Jan, 2004 for official purpose and his current AP will expire in DEC, 03.

So what should we do to get the emergency AP???? Does INS provide any Emergency AP. From where we can get emergency AP?? What are all the documents needed for getting emergency AP.

Should one get emergency AP from SFO?

Sorry to tell you that as my understanding, only direct relative deceased will then be granted for EAP (ie children, parents, or/and siblings).

can I apply urgent AP for marriage?

I also applied second AP in Aug, the first one is going to expire in Dec. Need to go to India for wedding and come back in Jan.

o Can I apply urgent AP for getting married?

o working in San Jose, should I go to SF or San Jose?

o When should I go, I heard they won't let you in unless your case has been pending for more than 3 months?
