AP travel info

Hi

I am planning to travel to India on AP. I am being told by Airline agents
that I need to go via Far East instead of over atlantic. Is there truth to
this?? Why so??

Also what should I expect on return trip from India along the way. Any
Airlines to avoid ..

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

I have recently travelled on AP to India.
1. The reason Airline agent is saying to go via Far East is due to the requirement by almost all of the European countries to have valid US visa or the coutries transit visa for connecting through their airport. If you have valid H1 or OK with additional hassel / expense of transit Visa then you may go via Europe.

2. While returning back, I did not face any difficulty in using AP, everybody seems to know AP.
