AP to re-entry permit conversion

My AP was pending on a photo RFE when my 485 was approved. My first thought was in the initial euphoria was to let it go but someone (UN) I think suggested I could request for a conversion to a re-entry permit with the RFE response.

Is there a time limit after we get approval to apply for re-entry permit.

Has anyone done the above.

Any negative consequences.

Anyone with similar experience. Pls let me know.

I don't think you can simply convert the AP petition to that of a reentry permit. Even though they both share the same application, the justification for obtaining them are completely different.
