AP timing

How long it takes to get AP approved? I had my case recently done for less than 2 months, but my wife's case has been pending there for almost 4 months. My case was even filed 2 months late than hers. What hecs going on in BCIS? Any one ever encountered the similar situation?

I Applied on 28th July , Got an RFE on 10/2 and was replied on 10/6 - waiting for approval

If you don't mind. can I understand what's your RFE for? This is my wife's second AP. There was no problem for her first AP.

My experience

AP for me and my wife applied on August 20. The Online status for both cases says, approved on Oct 23rd. I am still waiting for the actual document

INS has asked me to send a photostat copy of drivers license

I was asked to send COLOR copies of passport and Driver's License
