AP & Special Registration
Hi All,

I am from middle east, I need some help

If I use AP to entre US, do I still have to register on special registrastion or AP is exempted


Also while I am coming I have to stand in CG line or Visitor/h1b line


It is my first time to use AP

your help is appreciated

I was in the same situation as you. I was using AP for the first time. I am from a country that is on the special registration list. This is what happened to my In Jan from LAX.

I got in the H1-b line. When i got to the desk, the officer said that AP's need to go through secondary inspection. She pointed me to a different service window on the side. On that window, i gave my passport and the AP document. The guy asked me to go get my luggage while he processes these papers. I picked up my luggage and came back to the window. He had my paper work ready. He handed me over the paper work and told me that I am all set.

If you are admitted on AP you don't have to get registered.

If you haven't had any immigration violations AP is a more pleasant experience than H1!

Also do i need to stand at GC line or Vistor line or I can go directly to the inspection room.


and there is any special I-94 form for AP or all are the same.
