Dear Venkayya,
congrats!!!

Could you please confirm that your case is an employment based one. My concern is that INS has never (per my limited knowledge) requested marriage certificates for I-485 processing. I am, for no reason, questioning your competency on your own immigration case. Just to make sure, since I am a derivative applicant on the verge of divorce. Therefore, a-proof-of -marriage situation is a hot topic for me.

Yes ,i am on employment based i-485 and they have asked for
marriage certificate which was not listed as one of the requirement in AP application first of all..

My lawyer got puzzled after looking at the RFE,but filed and
i am not the only one who got this kind of RFE.

Folks, In the posts earlier, there seems to be some assumption that the approval was for I-485. The approval was for AP.
