ND 11/14/2001 ,

I am soooo relieved now..... at least my travel plans r not messed up.
 
I have not been able to sleep ...my ND is 11/13 and I am going to India soon. Hopefully my case will be approved soon as well.


I think u made a mistake with yr ND - is it 2001 0r 2002?

ms001 is there a difference between AP renewal and applying for new AP

My spouse had AP which I would expire in March . I was going to apply for new AP but not sure if rather I should renew those ... What does it matter
 
no difference

it's one and the same. same application and paperwork, just that u need to send copies of old AP too
 
Traveling on AP

Hi,
Can you please let me know if you are traveling on AP, do we need to show anything while going out of USA and do they stamp anything on the Document.

I am guessing they will just take the I-94.

I need to apply for AP.
Must I apply through a law firm, or can I apply it myself ? Which form needs to be filled ?


P.S. Other than AP, the rest of my greencard process is being taken care of by my lawyer. He's charging an extra $400 per AP document.

i guess most of us on this forum are doing it ourselves . the docs are

I 131 form
copies of old AP
I 94
two photos
passport copy
I 485 recpt copy
letter stating reason to travel
110 $ (not 120) check in favor of US - INS
 
Is it $110 or $120 ?
Also, can you please tell me who should it be paid to the order of ?


Again, its my first application for AP, not a renewal. I guess I'll apply it myself.

AP letter

mention that your business obligations require you to travel abroad and that you are not sure about the exact date of travel.
