AP Renewal - Urgent!!..Please..

Hi All,
I know we have to renew EAD 4 to 5 months before its expiration date. Could some let me know whether do we need to renew AP as well?. Thanks in advance.

I have my H1b valid till oct 1, 2002. I applied for EAD (for the first time) on July 22 (malied it). Do we need AP if my intensions are not to leave US?? Is it part of the EAD application or do we have to file a different application/form for AP? Please advice.

AP not required if you do not plan to go outside of US while your application is pending. The reason for AP for most people is for them to be able to travel out to their homeland, incase of emergency, or for people that will be assigned to other countries for special work.
 
EAD/AP Renewal Approved in 2weeks

Guys,
Here are my details for EAD/AP renewal:

RD for EAD/AP renewal was 07/10. AD for EAD is 07/24 and for AP it is 07/21. Looks like VSC is approving the renewals at an amazing speed!!! Hope they do the same with I485. Wishful thinking???
