AP Renewal - DO I need to send the I-140 approval

DO I need to send the I-140 approval for and AP...

i already have 485 receipt..and EAD copy.

You dont have to send the I140 approval notice.....
The documents you need to send are

• 2 photos which fits INS requirement with A# and name written with pencil on back.
• A check $110.00 for I-131 renewal fee made in the name of "U.S Citizenship and Immigration Services "
• I -131 Renewal Application
• A copy of Form I-94 Departure Record (front and back)
• A copy of I-485 Receipt Notice
• A letter explaining the reason to grant you AP.
• A copy of last EAD (front and back)
• A color copy of driver’s license (front and back) or a copy of passport front page showing date of birth and photo.
• Marriage Cetificate for secondary applicant.

The enclosed contains request to renew Advance Parole. My application to adjust permanent resident status is presently pending in your office. I have enclosed the following:

1. Form I-131 Renewal Form
2. Filing Fee in the amount of $110
3. 2 photographs
4. Copy of the approved Advance Parole, which is valid until 1/1/2005
5. Form I-485 filing fee receipt.
6. Copy of EAD.
7. Copy of the I-94 travel document.
8. Copy of my drivers license
9. Copy of my passport & Visa Photo pages.
10. Marriage Certificate.

I have been away from my family and I would like to visit my family in India. I trust that the above and enclosures are sufficient for you to adjudicate the application. However, should you need any additional information, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Form I-131 Renewal Form

I see folks saying -- "Form I-131 Renewal Form". However I am unable to find any other form other that Form I-131. Are these one and the same? I just want to be sure.

Form I-131 is fr Advance parole or for Reentry document

AP is not renewable you always apply for NEW AP

with the above list of documents posted by other poster you can also send the copy of I-140 becase I have seen few RFE from NSC and VSC for copy of I-140 with AP or EAD renewal application. it does not hurt if you attach copy of I-140.
