AP renewal and Travel question- need expert advice

Hi,
My 140 and 485 are pending at NSC center. I have EAD and AP approved and valid till 4/15/2005. I have to go to india for 4 months from Dec- March 2005.
My concerns are
1.What happens if my 140 & 485 gets approved while I am outside US.Can I enter using the AP?
2. Currently AP renewal is taking 3-4 months. Can I apply for AP renewal now and go to India but come back before the first AP expires i.e 4/15/2005.
3. Can I apply EAD while I am outside.

-- Don't worry - they will let you back in. The worst that can happen is that they give you a deferred inspection which means that you have to appear at a USCIS office within a certain time frame.

-- Yes - as long as the AP that you return on was valid at the time you left then it is perfectly OK.
3. Can I apply EAD while I am outside.
-- This one I don't know I'm afraid.
