AP question - urgent

folks,

My employer is using LC substitution for me and decided to go for I140/485 Concurrent filing. How log would that take to get an advance pay roll to travel outside of the country after filing I140/485?

Once you get the I-485 receipt,you can walk-in to the BOSTON local office and get the AP (even EAD) on same day.

Otherwise if you are planning to file I-131 (AP) at VSC, it takes around 2-3 months...

Boston office doesn't issue EAD/Advanced Parole unless your I-485 application is filed at boston INS office. You will have to file your application at vermont service center and if your EAD/Parole doesn't get approved within the time specified by the INS you can go to local INS office to get interim EAD. The interim Parole is not issued by Boston office. I went there today to get my Interim EAd/Parole but they didn't issue Parole although I got my EAD. I hope this helps.

My I-485 case is filed at VSC and I was able to get the EAD and AP via walk-in at BOSTON OFFICE..


Things might have changed now..

I got my AP at local office, Washington DC. They suppose to issue AP from local office.
