AP Question? Please help

Hi All,

I have hopefully a very simple question. Can somebody please respond !!!

I am trying to apply for AP and the draft format of the cover letter for AP is as follows:

Dear Sir,

This is a request for Advance parole Authorization.

I am an applicant for Lawful Permanent Resident status and am currently employed as (.....) with(.......).I would like to travel abroad on(>>>) and will vist (.....).. etc.
etc.....
etc......

In the above specified format is it necessary to mention the employment details??

I am laid off and am on lookout for job would not like to state that I am employed in the AP cover letter. Is this OK??

Can somebody please help.

No need to give employment details. Just say 485 is pending as per receipt number so and so. State why you want to travel out of US befoer GC approval (elderly parents in home country, scheduled family event, mtce of property there... etc.)
