AP Question. Need help!

My wife plan to travel this summer and we thought the AP would expire by sep, 04 so we bought tickets 8-15-04 return. But we have just found out the AP expires by 8-13-04.

We plan to apply new AP now but may not get it by the time she leaves (6-04).

Q1. Can she go to a local office to get an AP before she leaves? We are at Buffalo NY, which local office can she go to?
Q2. Can I mail the AP to her when she out off the country?

I do have an option to change the tickets. Because there will be three tickets and it will cost us a lot of money.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

There are many posts previously abt this. Do a search. Anyway, you cannot get a emergency AP from local office without valid reason. So forget abt getting it from local office. You can mail the new AP to her if it is approved after they leave or u can carry it if u r going later. If the AP renewal is not approved by 10days before the expiry date of the current one, you can always prepone the tickets and the airlines charges around $60-80 for each ticket. Hope this clarifies.
