My I-485 has been pending with VSC since May '02. I have to travel to India in couple of weeks on some personal work. Since my H-1 expired I have been using my EAD. Me and my wife applied for the AP on the 18th of April at the Baltimore INS center in person. They took the application and gave us 2 letters with photographs on them. Those documents are on plain paper with photographs attached and a INS seal with some signature. We were assuming that those were the AP final documents. But we were surprised to find when we received I-131 receipt notices in the mail from the Baltimore INS saying that our case will take 30-60 days for processing.
Are the documents with photos attached actual Advanced Parole documents or do we have to wait for some more documents? Can we travel to India with those docs? I am really confused about all this. Can somebody please help me out ?
