AP Photo Requirement! Info needed VERY URGENT!

I am planning to apply my AP renewal now. I would like to know what kind of photos do I need to send for AP application. Is it sideway photo(showing the right ear) or a normal front side picture. Please clarify.

Also in the class of admission, Do I need to enter H1B, as I entered USA 6 years back on H1B status even though I work on EAD currently.

Just regular passport size (2x2) photos - front facing.

And yes -- class of admission is H-1B
