AP Peculiar situation

Hi, I have to go to india for 2 months & my ap is still valid for 6 months. My question is what if my GC is approved when i\'m in india, will i be allowed to enter usa. Any suggestions would be appretiated. Thanks.

Yes. Deferred Inspection.

Your AP/I94 will be stamped with deferred inspection and you have to go to the INS office to get the 551 stamp. No worries. Just make sure that post office does not send back the approval notice.
