AP Paroled Until ??????

I am in Adjustment of Status(AOS) stage. I went out of the country in Nov-2005 and re-entered US on Advance Parole
On entering my I-94 was stamped with "Paroled Until --NOV 2006" date which is also the date of my Advance Parole expiry.

My question is does that mean I will become illegal after the stamp expires i.e NOV 2006. Which also means that I need to go outside USA and
re-enter on a new AP to get a fresh "Paroled Until" Stamp on my passport.

My lawyer has told me to go out of the country and reenter but for that i will need a new AP

Appreciate your replies

No you won't be illegal after the date - as long as your AOS is valid.

In case you need to go out of the US, then you need to apply for a fresh AP and then travel.

Cheers!

Change your lawyer :D

The I-94 date when you enter via AP has no relevance - it means nothing.
Your legal status is based on the pending 485.
