AP - Name misspelled

I recently got my AP document from VSC. VSC has misspelled my first name in AP documents. Any suggestions as to how to get it fixed. Should I be sending the AP back to VSC or can I go to my local Boston INS office.

It is not required to correct your AP.
The INS Scanner won\'t recongnize some characters.
Send your details with current name nd correct name
to your lawyer and ask him to send a letter to INS.
Keep a copy of this letter while travelling along with
your I-485 receipts and EAD, This will cover your travel.

I had the same problem for my kids and they didn\'t had any
problems.

Does INS officials at the airport stamp AP document? Also what date do they put on I94.

can you provide (if possible) the RD/ND and approval date of the AP ?
I sent my AP app. early 6/01 and trying to figure out when it will be approved.
