Hi guys-
My I485 is pending at TSC. The issue is that I sent my AP application to TSC but they returned it with a note that file it at NSC (since I live in MI). My lawyer told me to file it again with a letter explaining my situation, as they may have misunderstood my case. BUT it came back with the same note. So I called National service center hotline and they suggested to file at NSC as per TSC suggestion which I did. Today applications came back with the note that they cannot process it because case is not pending at NSC. The NSC letter also says that file it at local district. It really is a mess. I will really appreciate any input.

Take both the replies to your local office and speak to the personnel there. Explain him your scenario!

Go to your congressman office and inform them the different letters from NSC or TSC and ask them what you should do? Where to file? Provide the copies of all the letters; let them know how the USCIS works

As dynobuoy said you can also visit local USCIS office. If I am in your situation I will go to congressman office that handle immigration matters. They can immediately fax to NSC or TSC and will get the reply in 4-5 days

As your I-485 is pending with TSC they should accept your application for EAD, AP
