Ap Limit

Does Any one know, if some one have Ap & How long he can stay outside US?
My Kids travelling to India & They will stay there about 2.5 Months does it creates any probelm when they come back..

AP is usually valid for up to one year. So, one should be able to stay to that extent.

Yes - as stated by printent ....

you can stay outside the US and return anytime before the AP expires. It doesn't matter how long you were away.
Remember -- continuous residency restrictions begin only AFTER becoming a permanent resident - not when your 485 is pending.

Hi Nimmi,
We travelling by Air-India, Layover at paris. We have Valid Canadian PR Card,
So We don't Need Transit Visa.

Hi Kusho,

Do you mean that if I have Canadian PR Card then I do not need any transit visa,
I am planning to go first to Canada by using my Canadian PR card (to take care of something), then from there I will be travelling Abroad for 2/3 weeks and will return to USA by using AP before it expires. I guess I have to submit my I-94 at Canadian border to Canadian Immigration so that there would a record of my departure from USA. Is there anything I need to do besides that, any feedback from anyone would be appreciated. Thanks
