Questions asked by IO at Secondary Inspection area:

1.What category your GC been filed ?
Employment based (didn't satisfy with my answer)

2.What preference your employer filed GC ?
EB2 (Still not satisfied, don't know exactly what he needs)

3.How long you have been with this employer ?
10 months.....(I've joined present employer 10 months back)....

4. What (screamed)? Who is your employer and this GC petitioner....Who sponsored your GC ?
Then I explained...Employer "A" sponsored my green card, but I changed my employment to "B" 10 months back.

5.Show me documents that Employer "B" have taken over your case ?
Shown employment letter by "B".

6. This doesn't say anything about taken over your case !
Then I pulled my AC-21 supporting documents....(I insisted "B" and their attorney to file AC21 documents about changing employer...They initially said AC-21 filing is not necessary, but after I convinced them they filed AC21...So now it helped me a lot).

He stamped on I-94 and AP document....

After sometime, I observed ther is no arrival stamp on my passport ? Is it a problem in future ? Can I get stamping anywhere at local office (USCIS or CBP) ? If you guys know the procedure, Please let me know how to get arrival stamping in passport ?

Good information and will definitley deserve to be posted for others.

Not having a stamp in your passport shouldn't be a problem if you have your I-94 stamped and admission date is written on it. Just keep the copies of I-94 and AP for future references.

Strange.
Not one question was asked of me when I returned on AP.
Kind of seems I-485 interview by an adjudicating officer. Like EVL or something.

I went to Deferred Inspection area, IO checked my I-94 and stamped on my passport without any questions....

Thanks

Good that you carried the AC21 docs, but looks like the IO was a bit uneducated. You just had to carry your current EVL. Your new employer does
not have to "take over" your case in any way.

Flashing the AC21 law might help, so that these IO's get some on the job training; thanks to immigrants!

Edit: I mean a CBP agent ( when I refer to IO's!)

Immigration Adjudication Officers are up the food chain. Not sure if IOs will be manning gates at POEs. Looks like some over zealous agent.

It depends on the IO and the port of Entry. I came through YYZ (Toronto) after a brief visit and IO didn't ask for anything other than the AP. The only thing painful was 2 hours wait. Other than that no questions and no answers. Just AP
