My employment-based I-485 has been transferred from Nebraska to Chicago.
How and where do I apply for a new AP? Is it the local INS office in Chicago (I think so) and do I apply in person or mail in application?
Since Chicago is a district office, even without the transfer happening you could have gone there in person to get the AP. All district offices are authorized to issue AP.
