Folks,
Does usage of AP invalidate H1 ( i am on 7th year H1, have EAD ).

I am getting conflicting views from my company lawer ( says
nothing to do ),

and 485 lawyer ( safest to change to EAD )


Any one of you in similar boat.

*If you have used EAD and filed form I-9 with employer then you should use AP to enter US, If you have EAD but still work on H1 then you are on H1B status and can enter showing H1B stamp and will be on H1B status I-485 or AOS pending.

I got EAD and AP. I am on H1b. I used AP. But never used EAD and never signed I-9 with that EAD. Still using H1-B. I have not changed the employer. My EAD expires in 2 months. Should I re-apply EAD. Most people say that H1b is valid still as I have not used EAD and only used AP.


Anyone please help
