AP & EAD renewal after expiry date Question

My AP is expired just a month ago. I plan on renewing my advance parole (paper filing) now as I have an intention to travel on jan 2009.

I have used my AP (I-512L ) from last year when I went to India.

In part 3 ( processing information),

4. Have you ever before been issued a reentry permit or refugee travel
It has a Check box Yes and No

Do I need to mention the last approval I -512L document? Anyway I am going to attach as a supporting document.

On EAD, My EAD expired last month, although I work under the H1B status. I want to renew my EAD , with this current state of economy, you never know if you have to use to switch jobs.

Do I have to apply it as a renewal or a fresh EAD?

I mean which option should I chosse when filling the application?
Permission to accept Employment
or
Renewal of my permission to accept employment

It would be great, If someone can help me.

Thanks

1. For AP, right above Question 4, it clearly states "If you are applying for an Advance Parole Document, skip to Part 7." In other words, you don't even have to answer that question. As for supporting documentation, you don't have to include your old AP, they don't need it and it's just a bulkier application for them.

2. If your existing EAD is a (c)(9), and you want to apply for another (c)(9), then according to the I-765 instructions this would be considered a renewal, not a new application.
