Hi All

I applied for my EADs and APs which have a rd date of Feb 07, 2005. NSC is showing processing dates for Apr 06. Called up USCIS, got response that case is under review. Is anybody else in the same boat? Gurus any idea what's happening with my case? Did my biometric in the 1st week of April.

Thanks

My Ap was pending for review for over a year until my 485 was approved and then they denied my AP. Wish you good luck.

The USCIS may be reviewing the case. Not to scare you, but my friend got his 140/485 rejected when he applies for the 2nd EAD/AP. So this tells, they will check the records before issuing the EAD/AP.

It is advised to apply the AP/EAD before 90 days of expiry. If this crosses, then you can take appointment from the local INS office and get an interim.

90 day pending rule, allows you to only get a interim EAD.
There is no such provision for interim AP (though if its an emergency, you can hope to get an AP even before 90 days).

What were the reasons for his rejection?
LC; Med; backround?
Thanks.

Your case may be "on hold". Search for that phrase and you'll find several threads. If that's the case for you, the only way of getting any action out of them in this situation is through AILA (or equivalently, congressional representative).
