AP confusion

I apply for AP renewal and leave country with valid AP and will be coming back to US within current AP validity period.

I have two questions:

1. If my AP gets approved, while I am outside the country, is there any issue?


2. If INS gets to know that I travelled outside the country on a valid AP, while my AP was pending, is there any issue?

You'll have no issues if you come back before the expiry of the current AP.
