Receipt says it will be approved in 30 to 60 days. But still no news. My original purpose was to use it this Christmas, looks like i tried in vain.

u guys all got your AP approved in 60 days

Or u just lost hope altogether and do not want to say anything.

I used to push guys to contact senator/congressman. But now i guess i am running out of resorts.

35 days

My second AP is pending for 35 days was hoping to get it soon but after reading your mail, i know better now. I went to Local BCIS office in NY and they didnt' give it to me..

just called VSC re AP

Fanshan,

I just spoke to customer service rep at BCIS and they informed me in VSC they are currently processing APs received on Sept 20th. Hopefuly you will get it soon.

ak2002, it is good that you got the exact date 9/20 from them.

I checked 7 AP cases around me, none of them is approved.

To get an emergency AP, you need to write emergency letter to VSC. In my case, I will just give up since I can take advantage of the holidays anyway. Tickets are sold out.

thanks for the info.

Dont beleive the customer service reps.
I will tell you why . I called them in different times for AP and EAD (renewal) . They told me the same words ak2002 said.
What they are doing was just entering our EAC# and reading exactly what is there from word to word. But infact my AP is apporved and the message still showing as "receive", RD of SEP 02 . when i asked them about AP , She said , they still processing.

So who know what is going there!!!!

re cust svc reps

Well she looked up my receipt number and said it looks like we received it on Oct 20th.. we are currently processing Sep 20th so it might take another month or so. .. and of course anytime they tell you that you need to wait, they are correct.

Maybe this is one of the RFEs issued in error, as discussed on Murthy's web site:
