I sent my AP appication to VSC on 12/20/02. So far I haven't got receipt.

Same here. I sent my AP appication to VSC on 12/18/02 (received on Dec 21 per acknowledgement due) . So far I haven't got receipt. But yesterday (Jan 8) my $110 was encashed.

you can send your AP application in local INS. It is faster than VSC (suggested by lawyer). I did send my AP application to arlington last week and they cashed my check. Donot know when they will issue AP!

My check got cashed on Jan 9 showing at my bank statement. Not receipt yet.

My AP/EAD -- RD-12/12/02 and ND-12/19/02.. planning to visit india in feb'03. Waiting for approval before buying the ticket.
