I just checked the on-line status and found that our AP has been approved (RD: June 24, ND: June 25). The message says that the case was approved on Jan 20 (although the status was updated only today - I checked late last night) and notice was mailed yesterday. Folks that had their AP approved recently - any idea how long it takes for the approval notices to get to you? We have tickets for the 29th of January - so this is really a race against time. Also, is it possible to print out the status form and get a duplicate AP at the local office? Anybody have experience with that?

Any pointers are appreciated.

Poongunranar - no, my first AP expired in Nov 2003. We never used it. This is my second AP.
Entey-GC - I hope yours gets approved soon.
 
My wife's and my AP has also been approved.

ND/RD = 6/25/2003

Online it says it was approved on Jan 14. We still have not received it in the mail.
 
06/06/2003 not approved

My AP ND 06/06/2003 and not yet approved called the 800 number they say they are working on cases received on 06/06/2003 and have to wait for a week or two.
Hopefully soon.

7 months for AP???? Highly Rideculous!!!!!!

Couple of years ago whole I-485 process used to take just 6 months, a decade ago the whole GC process to take just 6 months,................


I don't know where CIS is heading!!!!!!!!!!

Letting out the frustrations this fine Wed afternoon.

If you think that things cannot be worse than this, think again. Here comes TSC to ruin your happiness.

At TSC you get scr*** now, 2 years later, again after 4 years and then 5 years and so on.

Do you think you escaped TSC by getting the GC – wrong, they will misprint your name on the GC so that you have to suffer for xxx more years.

Dr. asks how did you get so beaten up. I knocked myself out after checking the online status, 5 times an hour, every day for the past 3 years.

I condemn your statement of "7 months for AP," when I am crossing 8 months of AP, without seeing the end of the tunnel. I will sue you for your understatement :D :D :D
 
9 months still waiting for AP... If it take a year to get AP I think i will have to apply for my third AP right now!!!
