Guys and Gals,

Just to let you know that our 3rd APs were approved within 2 months at TSC. For the first time there were no issues with the approval. I am going to apply for my 4th EAD in Oct 06 unless I magically get approved before then.

regards,

Atleast there is something to cheer about.
last month i have applied for my 5th EAD and lets see when it gonna approved.
My PD is May 25 2001 and i have submitted my last RFE in June 2006 and now i am waiting for my 485 approval too.
Hopefully we all EB3's whose PD are current would get their GC approved S :) :) N.

The problem is why the AP and EAD cannot be approved longer although the USCIS knows the most of I-485s cannot be processed within one year. You all keep contributing to the USCIS. They really should thank you.

immiq,

It would be best if the APs and EADs were valid for atleast 2 years. This would save the USCIS so much labor because their agents are sitting around processing thousands of APs and EAD each year instead of concentrating on 140s and 485s. But they won't because nothing makes any sense in this process.

Saras,

Can you please give a list of documents you submitted for AP? Thanks a lot!

a) copies of your most recent I-94 documents (front and back);

b) two passport style photographs

c) clear enlarged copies of your driver’s license or any photo identification document.

Saras!!

They probably want to show that they are doing something, beacuse right now they are really not processing many 485's. The EAD extensions probably provides some work adding to the job security and also keeps a steady income stream coming in.

Wow!! I am getting to be quite a cynic.
