I will be filing for I-140, 485, EAD,AP concurrently in EB-3 RIR. Does I-140 has to get approved before AP or EAD is approved?? I heard it is taking 4-6 months for I-140 approval. But AP approval is 1-2 months. Can i get AP(or EAD/iEAD) before I-140 approval? Thanks.
 
EAD in most cases is approved after 140 approval.
But there have been cases where EAD has been approved before 140 approval.
Cant say sure of anything.

ALso, u can get i-EAD at ur local BCIS office, after 90 days of applying for EAD - if u have not got RFE for 140.
Not sure about AP though.
 
Thank you. But i need to know about AP approval before I-140 case. The reason being my H-1 visa is expired and i need to travel outside U.S after 2-3 months. If i don't get AP, my travel plans will be affected.

Anyone heard of getting AP approved before I-140?
 
Thanks for your info. Can u please give me brief details about ur application e.g ur I-140/485/AP Notice Date and AP approval date? How long did it take to get AP after filing. Was I-140 and 485 applied concurrently?

AP Issue

I got my EAD and AP in less than 2 months. I saw on the tracker this is the case with most people filed recently.
I-140 RD is 5/14/03-Still Pending
My 485 was filed on 6/10/03
EAD approved on 7/21/03
Advance Parole approved on 7/29/03
 
It's all good but has anyone traveled on AP without their 140 being approved?
Please let me know. I got my AP today ND 5/29/2003 RD 8/4/2003 . My I 140 ND April 26, 2002.
