AP Application. Need Help.

I filed my AP on Jan 20. So far, I have not received any thing from INS. The application was sent by USPS Express mail, and is has been received by INS (from online record). But, no response at all so far. My company needs me to travel to oversea in early Arpil for important business. How can I do? Please help.

I called INS service center for help last week. A lady collected my information, and told me that INS will reply to me in ONE MONTH. My God. It takes them one month to reply to me. I cannot wait any longer. Please help. Also, the RD of my I-485 is March 2002. For two years no prograss is happening except 2 times of FP. I am so frustrated.

You have not mentioned which city you belong too. Many Local CIS offices do give emergency APs (should you have a need to travel officially - please provide them with the related documents) and they should be able to help you. Other than that, in general the AP have slowed a little bit - but nothing to worry - you are still in the normal time slot.
