AP and Visa stamp Requirement

I am on an H1 extention (4th year). I have applied for I-485 and recieved AP.

Questions :

I don\'t have visa stamp in my passport reflecting H1 extention but have H1 approval notice

Can I travel and come back using AP ? (I will not have visa stamp in my passport)
Do I need visa stamp in my passport for GC interview ?

You can come in H1 with th e797 approval notice.
You can also come in AP
You do not need the stamp for GC interview. Approval notice is enough to prove valid status.

I think that he has to use AP since he has no stamp in his passport for H1.Alternative he can get stamping through TCV without using AP.
