AP and I-94

I used my advanced parole at port of entry. My AP expires in May, 2004. The immigration office stamped on my I-94 "Paroled until May 2004". I am worried and want to clarify if this has any impact on my status after May? Do I need to do anything after may? I am going to renew my AP beyong May. However, I am not sure if I need to do anything for my I-94?
