AP and H1B

Hi,

I'm planning to travel overseas with AP. Can I still work under
H1B visa if I come back with AP , or I have to work under EAD then. Pls advise.

You can use AP and can be on H1 status if you continue working with the same employer who filed your latest H1, you can also extend H1

OR
you can use EAD if dont want to be on H1 status

EAD vs H1B after using AP

Hi thanks for your reply.

Actually I currently have both H1B (not stamped yet) and EAD, what I wanna know is if I come back from overseas with AP, will my H1B be void and I have to work under EAD afterwards?

I appreciate your advice or confirmation if your answer is still the

You can use AP and can be on H1 status if you continue working with the same employer who filed your latest H1, your H1 status will not become viod. you can also extend H1 in future if continue working with same employer
