Hi,
My friend has a problem with his AP and H1. Please help guys. He got married in India. Now, his wife has applied for Passport. He entered with AP. Now, his lawyer is saying he cannot get H1 extension as he entered in AP. His H1 expired on Sat and he could not get it stamped even after going back to India for a day. It was a horrible situation. Anyway, what options does he have now to get his wife over? Does he have to wait for the GC Approval and then apply as follow to join? Any help will be great guys.

It is possible to extend h1 after using AP. I have done it with out any problem. I used premium processing. Ask him to apply for extension immediately if it is with the same employer.

Thanks, he has already applied for the extension. Hopefully, he gets it. He has done that in premium processing.
