AP and EAD at NBC - Approved (Very Strange)

So I applied for my EAD and AP renewal at the same time back in December to the National Benefits Center (NBC)

Got a letter from the USCIS with ND of Jan 20 for both documents.

I have been checking status on both online and no change. Last night I get home and see my approved AP in the mail, but my online status still does not show approved. I have been checking status on AP all day and no change in status. Only saw LUD change from 1/24 to 3/25 then 3/27. Obviously this is all very strange

Has anyone gotten any approvals from NBC for EAD. My ND is Jan 20, did my FP on 2/21 and LUD on 2/22. Nothing has happened and I am obviously concerned since my EAD expires on Apr. 12.

Last year I had to take a leave of absence for 2 weeks, I really don't want to be in the same situation this year.

Why did you apply to NBC instead of a regular service center?

I applied to the NBC b/c that's what I was advised by my company lawyer as well as the person I spoke to when I called the NCS number. I am awaiting my AOS (name check) which is marriage based.

My case has been pending in Newark, can I apply there in the future?

Also, has anyone gotten EAD approvals form NBC lately?
 
Last night I received an email stating my renewal EAD had been approved. Received another email this morning that it had been mailed on 3/29

Here are the details if interested:

Paper based filing for 2nd renewal of EAD and AP at the NBC (Marriage based GC. AOS pending CIA/FBI name check. Interview happened in Aug '04)

I-765 (EAD)
Mailed documents to the NBC on Jan 12th
Received letter 2 weeks later with receipt number and ND of Jan 20, 2006
Notice for FP at ASC on 2/21
LUD 2/22
3/28 Received email stating renewal EAD had been approved
3/29 Received email stating renewal EAD had been mailed out
Waiting for new EAD card....

I-130 (AP)
Mailed documents to the NBC on Jan 12th
Received letter 2 weeks later with receipt number and ND of Jan 20, 2006
LUD changed on 3/25 - online status shows application is pending
LUD changed on 3/27 - online status shows application is pending
3/27 unexpectedly received approved AP in the mail
Online status STILL shows application is pending(?!?!?!)
