AP and Canada?

My wife was on H4 when she started working on EAD. Now she is going to Canada. She has valid AP during travel. My questions:

1. What is the process of using AP travelling through Canadian Border?

2. Can anyone please share exprerience of travelling on AP through Canada?

3. Her current I-94 has H4 stamp. Will she be changing I-94 this time? If yes, what will be the date on the I-94 till when she is admitted until?

Please reply. Thanks in advance.

1. Same as any country
2. See EAD/AP and FAQ sections (forums)
3. Yes, 1yr. But it is not binding, I94 from this point on is purely to track you, does not determine your (spouse's) stay until date, when you are a I485 adjustee.

Driving can be different

My experience has been that the Canadian Immigration officer will not retain your I-94 and the US immigration officer will allow you to re-enter the US with the same I-94. I handed in my I-94 at the Canadian border and the officer returned it to me. I then showed the same I-94, along with my AP, when returning to the US and was allowed to re-enter.

It shouldn't make any difference, but I travel on a Canadian passport.
