AP - 2 vs 3 copies

Do we get 2 copies for AP or 3 ... my friend received 3 copies for him and wife and 2 copies for child. Is INS issuing only 2 copies for children? anyone in similar situation?

We received three copies each. Me and my spouse and my kid.

Received 2 copies - I guess means they are limiting to 2 visits per year? (my guess)

It's ok

We have 3 copies - 2 with photos and INS stamp. The third copy does not have photo nor does it have an INS stamp. It's just a photocopy.

Recently (01/08/03) we entered US on AP. The officer used the 2 copies with photos and put an arrival stamp on it. He returned all the 3 copies to us.

Hope this helps. I do not know if I can re-enter US again using the same AP copies. Wish you all the best!

My renewed AP has 2 copies with the photo imprinted on the paper, unlike the old one where they just put the photo on the paper and sealed it.

why ins is issuing 2 AP copies to some and 3 to others? this is confusing.
