My number just became current and I'm doing AOS .. I know there is not much hope ..but still ... I had a few questions ..will appreciate it if I can get some help

1) I wanted to know the time and cost effort involved for doing the medical stuff. I was wondering if i should spend the time and money to do it now or just send in the application now asap and worry about the medical later . Is that possible ?

2)Can I send my application to the Chicago office by fedex ? or does it have to be regular email ?

3) How soon can I expect to hear back from them ?

4) If anyone has a list of documents that need to be sent with the application, that would be a big help

Reading all the other posts, it doesnt look like I stand much of a chance..but still want to give it my best shot ... so please pass on any tips or advice that u have for me
Thanks.

mail carriers

I used UPSfor one package and got a response after five weeks. Then sent some stuff with regular USPS and got a response in five days. This might be just a coincidence, but since then I prefer USPS.

1) My medical costed $150 + $60 for 2 vaccinations that I didn't have in my records, so I had to do them again. It took about 10 days from start to end.

2) Don't know - my lawyer filed for me.

3) I got my receipt 10-12 days after I applied but sometimes they take 5-6 weeks.

4) I gave all my documents (previous visas, copies of passport and I-94, birth cetificate, diploma, etc) and my medicals to my lawyer but I don't know what exactly he has submitted to file the case.
