AOS pkg sent with no EAD application under 245i is it okay??

Hi guys,

Is it okay to go to the AOS interview without an EAD card if I am applying under the 245I?
 
You can go without the EAD, all the papers for EAD and everything else that you have filed is a part of your A-File which will be in front of the IO for review at the interview.
 
thanks for you reply, the problem is I never apply for the EAD, so there will be no I765 form in my A-file.... do you still think it will be okay?
 
Since you just sent your AOS packet on 11/16/10, when you get your reciept notice you can still send the I-765 IF you want an EAD (you already paid for it). I'm curious to know what your basis is for filing under 245(i). You had to have some nonfrivolous petition or labor cert. filed on your behalf prior to 4/30/2001, in order to grandfather you. Are you confusing things?
