Hello,
I'm on an H1B visa and in the middle of my I-485 process. A few days ago I had the FPs done. I got married before submitting my I-485 so I was able to include my wife in the AOS application. She is under an H4 visa.
However, she is currently working overseas until the end of August and was not able to be in the US for her fingerprints (they were the same date as mine). So my questions are:
- How many times she could request re-scheduling of her FPs? It might happen that her next appointment is in mid August and should could not be back in the US yet.
- Could she do the FPs at the US embassy of her country?
- What happens if I get my AOS (GC) approved and she's still overseas? Does she lose the H4? How could she re-enter the US and continue with the AOS process?
