AOS of Spouse

I am a citizen of Pakistan and my 140 and 485 has been filed 4 months ago. I am planning to get married. The issue is, I don't know that if I apply for H4 visa for my spouse, will she get one before my 485 gets approved? I want to file her AOS before my 485 approval.

Is there a possibility that I apply for her 485/AOS immedately after marriage when she is still abroad and my 485 has not approved? Will counselor processing work in that case?

Is the time taken by CP same as the time taken for 485/AOS from US?

In case I get married before my 485 approval but am not able to file her paperwork in time, what are my options to get her to US?

I dont want to get stuck in the black hole of family re-union after 485 that takes 4-5 years at present for the family to reunite.

She cannot file an I-485 if not lawfully admitted into the United States. She should get the H-4, enter and then file. If your I-485 is approved after the marriage but before she enters the US, she does Consular Processing.

In a nutshell, you need to get married before your I-485 is approved to avoid the FB2 trap.

More specifically, if my 485 gets approved after my marriage while she is still abroad, I can go for Consular Processing.

Do I need to file CP immediately after marriage or only after my GC is approved?

How long does CP takes to complete in normal circumstances? (I am from Pakistan)
