AOS interview videotaped?!?!?!

Hi,
I got a letter from USCIS invting me for the AOS interview at the end of this month. On the letter, in bold print, it states that this AOS interview will be videotaped. Is this a standard procedure or something new?

Please share your experience in this matter.

I don't know if it standard procedure, but if you do a bit of searching on google you will find other people mentioning the same thing.
From a newsgroups search:

Hi rga,
it doesn't have to do anything with the interview being videotaped, but I was just wondering how long after receiving the Receipt Notice did you get the interview date?
