AOS Interview - Further Review Notice

Three weeks ago my wife and I had our AOS interview. We thought the interview went well, It lasted about 30 minutes and the IO kept most of our joint documents including rental agreement, bank statements, joint tax returns for the last two years, 7 notarized letters from friends and family, about 40 photos, joint vehicle titles and insurance and a few other bills. He asked a few questions about how we met and then gave us the speech about removing the conditional status on the green card. He told us the security checks were complete but that he did not have the authority to approve the case (a fact our attorney who was present confirmed) and that we should hear from them in a week or two. Then he printed off a letter with the FURTHER REVIEW box checked wished us both well and that was it.
My question is does this sound like we will have another interview? The last LUD for our I-130 and I-485 are from 2 weeks before the interview.

i think you will receive the result from uscis rather than another interview

and i think they intend to approve your case

be happy to wait for the good news!;)

Same thing here...

Everything went great at my interview on March 22nd. The IO explained that the Baltimore DO has a 'reverification' process in which, only supervisors can approve cases. She didn't give any indication as to how long the process takes. I estimate 1 - 2 months judging from some posts I've read. She did, however, state that she was recommending approval, but that after that it was out of her hands. So I guess we'll see...:o

That's a pretty normal situation in some DO. I wouldn't worry even I know that you can be frustrated.

take care
